Incongruous: Out of keeping or place

Each time I took a quick peek at the submissions for this week’s WA I noticed that another shot of chess pieces has been posted and they are all much better than mine. So………. I have posted a new shot.

Had a little bit of time before flying out tonight so I figured I would take a few moments and try to offer a bit of humor.

Remember the search game we use to play as kids………

One of these things is not like the others; one of these things does not belong?

Good Luck to all.

This is a great take on the WA. I really like the action you've captured, and the lighting is perfect. Well done!!

Hi Karen,

Your chess shot was very nice, but I like this one better. Nice idea and execution. Good luck this week.

Hi Karen, I liked your chess shot. It was imaginative to replace the missing pawn with the domino! But, I do like this one. The angle of the clothesline is well composed. The freshness of the outdoors and clean laundry is only topped by the humor! Nice work!

I did post a chess shot today, but deleted it after thinking about it a bit. I read that your post had a new image. I am not sure of the rules for posting a similar entry but I did not feel right have one along the same theme as others had already posted. I did shoot it a couple of days ago, but couldn't post until today. And it was a different view point from the others, but I did decide to delete it anyway. Sorry if I had anything to do with you changing your entry, but I do like your new one. Very original and creative!

Thanks all,

This time of year has been nuts for me and I am sorry I did not get to comment on everyones shots.

Again, thanks for the support and it was a bit of a surprise to me that this made the finals.

Karen
