Thanks Will......
for the memories......
I got my 1sr RR image down there at Bosque
thanks for teaching us the body behavior...important to us part-timers there!
The FMers should be arriving about now....
I have one down there now and a few more coming...
Now that Unit #3 has water again, I might have to plan a group trip for next year
Carry-on with the fun !!!

in gratitude,
Nelcha

Appreciate it, Nelcha. It's just a 'monkey's take on their behavior...I really need to
train one to mug for the camera with prey in mouth. I'll keep a eye out for your "flock"
towards the end of the week.

Sweet shots Will. Hope whatever its looking at in no. 2 can run fast.

really fast:worried:

Wild "E" coyote... Look out...

Great shots Will. Love these, has anyone on FM took a RR shot in flight

Thanks, Chad. They're tough...don't really fly. They'll use some wing for lift to a tree
or fence post and glide back down and that's the extent of it. They be so freakin' fast
on the ground, I guess they figure why bother

Great behavioral shots, Will. I don't mind the "steel" at all. They're living with what's there, after all.

You really nailed the exposure. Love the colors.

Hey Will
Compliment the handling of that exposure. I find the backlighting quite interesting on your RR'rs. Looks like the color tone of the foot and just below the eye match the steel rod, I am sure this is why you included it! Kind of a 'hard edged' looking bird, don't look much like feathers.
I like 'em both quite a bit, very neat. Keep having fun!

Regards...........Karl

Sure appreciate it, Karl. I'd about given up on the morning outing when I spotted this
guy posturing on the turnout. Yeah, they are hard looking birds for sure.

Nice set , I don't mind the metal. #2 is my fav , like the detail against the strong backlight.

Thanks to: John, Larry, Susan, and Stephen.
They'll be available in force at BdA but one might have to fight thru the fog/rain/snow
to nail one. My sincere apologies for the weather FM'ers...still planning on coming
down if I can get a few loose ends tightened up.

Not sure how I missed these on the forum -- great shots -- yes, one is the one. It is around noon on the 27th and the sun is shinning through the clouds. Steve W

Snuck some past your eagle eyes Steve, thanks! You must have been busy with your time travel...
today's the 23rd or should I ready myself for a trip down Tue?

Caught me! I guess my eyes are blurry from all of that good food yesterday! Not sure yet that I will be able to make it down in the next few days - if you go I hope the sun comes out and lets you and the others get some great shots. Steve W
