Someone is trying to sell his 280/4 APO to me, and asked for USD 2700. The condition is very good with box and lens strip. I am wondering what would be a reasonable price for this lens? |

it is a top performing lens. In really fine condition (and I mean glass) that is not out of line, but a bit on the high side. |

The problem with the 280/4 is actually finding one for sale. It's not a great deal, but if clean you'd at worst break even in a resale. |

Thanks, both of you. I will try to talk to the seller to see if I could cut down some more. Good to hear someone's going to have 180/2. It's a fine lens, but a bit heavy. You will love it. |
