Beauties Dave. Is it must me or am I seeing just a little better dynamic range in your images? Love the piper shots and Mr. Ibis and cute take on the good morning BCNH.

Dave, these are great! I am liking your new equipment, and I'll bet you are too!
#4 is pretty darn cool, and I like the Ibis--something we don't have here in the PNW

Dave,

These are all very special. I enjoyed each one. I'd be glad to take even one as nice. How do you get so close? The pectoral sandpiper is super - great poses and color. I saw one of these for the first time this week, and with my 500 and extender I wasn't this close.

Love the light on #2 - ibis. No. 3 is really sharp -- wow! Thanks for sharing all of these.

This is a very fine set of images, Dave. I like them all, particularly the last one.
I'm also sure that the Juvie Yellow Crown is actually saying: "Dave, I caught a fish this big this morning" Thanks for sharing,
Socrate

Dave, I just bought a new monitor and a lot of these shots look overexposed. I would sincerely appreciate knowing if I need to calibrate. I've never before seen anything overexposed from your shots, so I'm a bit concerned about what I'm seeing. All fabulous shots, but I need some help with exposure because of my new monitor.

Thanks so much Bonnie. I tried sending an ibis up that way to Maggie, but it escaped and flew back

Thanks a bunch Cris. I usually shoot from my van window and it works quite well...doesn't scare the birds. Today I was on my belly for a while, but not real great subjects.

And I crop in pp.....do what I have to

Norm, #3 and #7 have pretty good detail in the whites on my monitor.
Look at this, can you see 251 and 253 off white/gray distinctly?

Dave, good shots. I like them all but #7 seems to pop but maybe its because I know you had to get out of the van to take it :-)
