I just got my 1d on 9/18 and I took it out to test the AI Servo focus in bright sunlight. I couldn't get it to miss the focus. |

Yesterday in the vicinity of St Mary (east entrance of Glacier Nationa Park): ![]() Canon EOS-1D Mark III ,Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM 1/1600s f/5.0 at 35.0mm iso640 ![]() I think I will be using the 1DMk3 gradually more for shots that have tons of details, as from my comparison of my 1DMk3 and 1Ds, the 1DMk3 images are at least as good and not suffering in holding the details. |

Slau.... yikes...snow already. I know it's time but I'm not ready. We have snow here on our local ski hill... haven't been up there yet to see it. |
