I am tempted by this lens, does anyone have any inputs about the lens or pictures? I'd like to check out the bokeh.

Is it easy to handhold since it's f2.8?

If I consider this lens, is there another one I should be considering for a Nikon D80? I'd like to have a mid tele zoom or possibly even a prime tele less than 300mm.

Thank you in advance,

I had a chance to use the 50-150 on a trip to the Mediterranean recently - the best example I could find that showed some bokeh is this one:

There may well be some other examples in that same gallery.

I thought it was a great lens, very light and very sharp as well. I did handhold it quite a bit, as you say being f2.8 makes that not too hard even at longer focal lengths.
