Simple comp, cute subject displaying natural behavior, nice color, detail, and sharpness, and some inclusion of a nicely textured perch. Not the most exciting of critters but it has all the requirements of what, in my mind, all good wildlife shots should have. Very, very nice. |

Proof positive that one shot is more than enough because it gives us more time to enjoy all of the credits within. This photo has character plus, background plus, perch plus, and seemingly minor details that turn it into a work of art, such as the strings stuffed into the cracks of the log and the eyeball, you really know how to present that most important feature.
