My experience of ~2000 high ISO images that I shot with the 1D3 compared to those of my 1Ds2 aren't quite as favorable; the 1Ds2 is clearly better than the 1D2, but not as good as the 1D3. I would agree with reviewers who claim 2 stops advantage between 1D2 to 1D3, and about one stop between 1Ds2 and 1D3. |

Congrats on getting you 1d mk 3 so quickly. I am in HK and at this point I am #3 on the wait list of my shop. Not clear exactly when I will get the camera since HK's entire first shipment has already been allocated. |

Where do you shop Jay S? I am in HK as well and find the shops here a pain to deal with. |

Don't know but HK prices are nothing special regardless. Any online guy in states is cheaper for all bodies and lenses assuming you are not paying state tax. |

I shop at Chung Pui Photo on Stanley Street in Central. I deal with Paul Chan, who is very helpful and easy to deal with. Have gotten a lot of stuff through him these past few years. |

Might have to find that shop then Jay, the first shop on Stanley street have 3 of the most uninterested in selling/showing you stuff I have ever seen. You know its bad when someone is begrudingly willing to show you a 1400 dollar lens. |
