Here are a few shots from our recent familly trip to kenya, we did a 4 day safari and we were amazed at the wildlife, can't wait to go back again.

Thought this was a rolier bird but not so sure.

Great shots, I like all of them a lot! If I had to pick some favorites though, I would go for #1 and #4

Such a nice visual journey through that area that I wish you had posted a bit larger so that they could be enjoyed even more. You sense of color, exposure, and presentation are really attractive and I simply want to "zoom" in a bit more to get an even more detailed look

Hi Philip, just pm me your e-mail and I'll send you as much info as I can, the one thing I can guarantee is that you will want to go back. We took our two small children so we were limited to some respects to the size of our safari, but even 4 days was a sheer joy.

These are super shots. Wonderful poses and very sharp. Love the low angle on #3 and the light on #4. The leopard is gorgeous.

BTW, do you ever see any motorcycle tours on safari? I think a two wheeled safari would be a blast. As dangerous as that sounds, if Africa is anything like Central America, a lot of locals get around on motorcycles and unless they are routinely injured/killed by lions, it may be no more dangerous than a car. Unless you stop and leave the bike of course.

Great shots, Dean!! You got some once in a lifetime shots in there. I am planning on going there in the next 3 years as well. I have been eyeing the 300mm that you have. Can you tell me how much you used that lens when you were out there? What was your most used lens?
