Looks like it would be hard NOT to take a great shot there. Beautiful shots.

Great images,

I first went there in 1978, a friend was going with a group who had
a last minute cancelation and asked if I wanted to go. I said sure
but I new nothing about the place and it was a complete surprise
when after hiking for several hours I heard a rumbling on the cliff
behind me, I walked to the edge and saw the waterfall and emerald
pools below. I could hardly believe what I was seeing, it is truly a
beautiful and magical place. I have always wanted to go back, but
haven't yet.

BTW in those days I was shooting slides, and when I got them back from the lab
for that trip, they had cut the whole batch mid frame and ruined the lot.

Thats one of the things that makes digital so nice, you can have complete
control from the time you press the shutter button until you hang it on the
wall.

Sorry for rambling on like that.

No worries, mate. I love a bit o' history. Must have been an interesting place back then!! Sorry about the slides though. Probably time to return!! It's still just as beautiful.

Amazing pictures of an amazing place! Would you mind sharing
some practical info a bit? When, how to get there, did you stay overnight,
what time of the day? Please..

Hey, I recognize a few of these spots!! It was a pleasure scoping out a number of these areas with ya on your last go around. You definitely selected the cream of the crop for your post here. Of course, I'm biased towards "The Bathtub" image as my favorite!

Good luck on your upcoming workshop. It's coming up fast!
