Not bad. A couple things.

The top of the glasses cut through his eyes, pretty much a no no, but not too bad being they are frameless glasses.

Needs to be warmed up a little.

The downward angle is kind of nice, but having him lean forward at the same time bothers me.

I have a question about lighting.
When I tested the strobe output with flash meter setting for ISO100 and Tv 1/125, it's showing Av f/8 which is what I wanted.
I set the camera on Manual mode and dialed the Tv and Av to be just that.
Should I be one or 1/2 stop down to get a warmer tone?

Warmer tone will be adjusted with your WB not your exposure.

Changing the aperture/shutter speed won't affect the warmth of the shot. To change the colour you either change the WB, Gel the strobe or use Photoshop.

As for the portrait, I like the idea of using a different angle, but agree with the previous poster.

I am also not impressed with the background. I personally can't stand these pizza grenade backdrops, if this is intended to be a business portrait then why not find something that is relevant to shoot the guy against.... even a plain white wall or a watercooler or a frosted galss door or a potted plant would work.
