Hi,

Here is my one light set up. It is an AB800 with an umbrella and a 42" reflector on the side.

Hi Rmarrero. I like your setup, simple and basic. I have the same space problem like yours and just bought a two light setup, I may just be using one for the time-being.. I like you big light stands too, looks sturdy and those big clamps. What brand and model number are the light stands, and where did you get them? May be a website link? I need a nice big stand like those. Thanks.

Mufutau,

I bought the stands from B&H, this is the exact one I bought : Stand

The clamps are not part of it, just store them there until I need them.

Thanks. This is the same stand I want to buy to replace the stands that came with my kit. I mean the stand that held your AB800/Umbrella attached (not the reflector stand).. if this is the same stand we are talking about.. then good. But it looks way bigger in your posted photo than the photo B&H posted on their site. I have other Impact equipments and I know they are good.. So please confirm we are talking about the same stand.. then i will drive to B&H this evening and get it. Thanks very much.

Is there a visio symbols library for making photography lighting layouts that I don't have, or do you guys create diagrams like this from scratch?

Yeah, c'mon Kevin. Share how you made the setup images. Damn sight better looking than any I've done.

Does anyone use reflective silver brollies? I use them pretty pretty much all my shoots and sometimes find the light can be a little too harsh... Should I invest in some white ones?

Just built them in Adobe Illustrator... it was really late last night when I did so glad things look recognizable.
