The pictures turned out great. I especially like #s 9,10, and 11. Is that Greg Crater? He has been riding well lately. What track was this?

I can't wait to have a lens that gives me bokeh like that!! #1 and #2 are the best because you can clearly see the rider's eyes

Yup, that's Greg. He was riding pretty good out there. This is Pacific Raceways, its around kent/auburn washington.

I really like it when you can see the rider glaring down the race track, thanks for the comment.

Some nice shots! Good job on capturing the wheels spinning too (that seems to be a problem with most MX pics I take).

I'm going to assume that's in Kent. During practice do they let you out on to the track?

Thanks Keith, I used 1D and 70-200, and 300.

For the motion on the wheels, I like to keep the shutter under 1/500. Even at that, I sometimes see sharp spokes. The shot in number 2 was 1/320 i think.

This is in Kent, and this was the first time they have let me on the track to shoot, a friend of mine is creating a video and including some of my photos from the evening, that's the only reason i was able to get out there.
