I found this little fella in my backyard the other day. I get quite a few wild Rabbits in my backyard, but I think this guy is an escapee.

You can get close enough to touch him, but then he runs away when you do.

Naturally I had to get him in flight.

One of the problems I had shooting him was, he would keep running within my minimum focus distance.

Isn't he just the cutest little guy!

All that is missing from this shot is his one paw resting on the side of his head.

Jody, nice series but what is the story with the earsNever saw a wild rabbit or Hare with ears that flopped down like that. Heck even Bug's Bunny's stand up strighter than that.

Thanks Lou, that's what makes me think he is an escapee. Hopefully a Redtail doesn't happen by or he will be gone.

Jody, The series is great.
On another note if he is not wild, he may have been someones pet or abandoned after the Xrta Cute phase and too many pellets on the rug.
Can you find him a home? - Bob

Nice series Jody, and cute is way too understated. Those last two are just priceless. Your wife is probably right, but she should be nice about it

Appropriate title, what an excellent fat little subject. Love those flattened ears. That's gotta go on a greeting card or something to that effect.

Looks like a "Mini-Loop". Our's looked just like that when she was smaller. Very Nice Photos.

Very cute photos of an extremely cute subject, Jody. Thanks for the smiles.
I used to have some wild rabbits in my backyard, but that was before I start seeing the hawks. .
Thanks for sharing,
