I think that's back-focusing -- ie. the spot in focus is 'behind' the spot you want it to be -- or between the spot and the camera...know what I mean?

You sure you only have center-point AF selected, and not closest subject by accident, right? Doesn't hurt to ask.

Whatever it is, it's not functioning correctly. I tested the lens on the D200 and D2H, center sensor, same results.

Duvel is great beer but In short supply most of the time around here. The Abt 12 from St. Bernardus is perhaps the most complex ale that I've ever tasted so I stay stocked up.
