At least canon listened and add all the features we have been asking for. |

It's true, they got the iso thing right this time around. But I am underwhelmed by this replacement. I wonder what got tinkered with regarding the autofocus algos? |

I am dissapointed, but hopefully there are a couple good lenses besides the 85L II. |

We will see...I am selling off 1D bodies to "downgrade" to 5D so 30D may not be a bad idea |

So now that this is out of the way, when does the Rebel series get an upgrade? |

I hope that the mirror slap is quieter. This is one reason I didn't like the EOS 3. In my work this is important. |

30D will have rebate and discount and the price will come down to $1100 IMO. Cheaper to buy 30D than 20D. |

I really don't see why everybody is so bummed about the 30D. It fixes every problem everybody ever had with the 20D. ISO in the VF, 1/3 ISO stops, deeper buffer, etc. I bet the focusing has improved to, just like the 1D2 vs the 1D2n. So it doesn't have 12mp, so what? Feel the need to go buy even bigger cards? |

A big yawn to this update. Not really worth it for 20D users to update this unless the files can show a huge significant of cleaner files. For current 20D owners, IMHO it's wiser to wait till 2007. |
