I picked up my 5D today, and as requested, here are some samples.

I didn't have much time to take the photos after work (and it shows). I may post more when I get more time, and better shooting conditions.

As I said, I have also posted one RAW file, although I'm not sure if anyone will be able to open it if they don't have the latest Canon RAW software.

Lets see how much time passes before my bandwidth limit is reached...

I guess your bandwidth got hammered. None of the files are available.

I'd say this is in "mainland" Japan & not Okinawa. It looks like US Government land w/ the buildings, but I don't recognize anything that says Okinawa: the towers on Okinawa and mainland Japan are different.

Oh, and I'd be careful of photography on US Gov. Installations. They don't like that...

I can open it in ACR using the latest update (3.2), those files are very clean for iso 400 though I only have experience with the 10D and 1Ds, now I know what I've been missing with the next generation! Resolution is very good though it will need careful and strong sharpening to bring it out, it's far more subtle than the 1Ds.
