I thought I was the only one who held up lunch to take photos... you're right, it is lovely. Warm tones, pleasing compositon.

Nice shot Alex, you see nice light where I haven't learned to look yet.

VERY nice lighting Alex. I really like the colors and DOF. Very calm feel to this shot (before the hustle and bustle of the lunch crowd, I'm sure!). What lens and settings did you use? (If you don't mind.)

Good job!

Thanks for the kind words folks.

Don-- luckily I was out to lunch with a photographer (checking out his new 1Ds!), he didn't mind.

Eman-- I shot this at ISO 200, 1/16th of a second, F4.5 with the Canon 28-135 IS lens.

Really nice shot. Looks like something the restaurant would want to use in advertising--you should bring them a copy, you never know it might be the start of a good thing. --Nate.

Hmm, interesting idea - never really occurred to me to do that, but I can see how it would be a shot they could use... thanks Nate, maybe I will.

Nice shot Alex! You even managed to get good reflections in the glasses. Many times I see myself standing with a camera in such reflections

Thanks John, I think I just got lucky with the reflections.

Thanks chuso, I was really pleased to actually capture the warm lighting I was seeing. I actually ended up using the "cloudy" WB setting on this shot (took a couple of them) which seemed to give me the most accurate tones.
