A customer at our shop is interested in using their D2X with the PB-6 bellows. They were told by Nikon that they can use a dual cable release to control the bellows (AS-7 I think??), however, the D2X does not have a mechanical cable release. Here's the question, is there an adapter you can get that will allow you to transform the D2X's multi-pin remote port into a cable release port? If not, is there any way that you can rig the setup up to work? Thanks in advance! |

I use manual-focus lenses on a Contax RTS bellows unit attached to a Canon DSLR body. Seems like the D2X should work flawlessly (and meter) with any non-G lens: you merely accept the loss of an auto-diaphragm. |

Veeeery interesting! I've been considering the PB6 myself. I've never used a bellows, so this thread is very helpful to me. Thanks. |
