LOVELY Jack! The one that looks like a Dandelion to you I believe is an Aster. I'll have to check my field books when I get home, but it's a common plant.

I really like the water lilies. Been a fan of those for many years now. Great shooting my friend .

Thanks Glenn. I'm not near where I would like to be with 'closer up' photos, but practice can't hurt. Hope you have good light this weekend.

OK, Jack, now we all are drooling...Sooo, what lens was used? I'm teaching a workshop tomorrow IN THE RAIN...leaving the D2X behind, in favor of my trusty D1X, all refurb'd...looked at many rain protective gear today, but found absolutely NOTHING acceptable...and so it goes... Have a great weekend. I DO hope that at least YOU have some success ;-))

All were taken with the Sigma 105mm f2.8 with the exception of the lillies, they were taken with the 300mm f4. Best of luck in THE RAIN

I've had my D2X for three weeks now.
Here are a couple I shot yesterday of the wisteria in my backyard.
They were shot with my walkaround Nikkor 18-70. I now keep my exposure at a constant +1/3,
and many times add another 1/3....a tendancy to underexpose a bit, thats my only nit so far.
Otherwise, the D2X is a dream for sure !
