It's funny how stuff like this works...I had been planning on doing another shot for this monthly contest, but when I went on a walk tonight I thought I'd tote the camera and realized that vibrant colors would look really cool and Impressionistic if they were out of focus...

So, I took about 5 shots and when I got home was pleasantly surprised with this one. I shot it in RAW format and modified the Shadow Contrast in RawShooter Essentials.

The more I look at it, the more I love it. But, I also want to hear comments and critiques, as always.

Thanks!

Cool, love the colors! The largest looks almost glowing.

beautiful photo, very nice, AND it fits the theme. Seems like a lot of people mistook the theme for slow shutter motion blur

Thanks for the comments, guys. I was a little concerned I pushed the Shadow Contrast a bit far, but I guess not.

My favourite so far - really fits the theme, and is a beautiful presentation.

Thanks Gary and Michael! I appreciate it and hopefully I'll make it to the voting and will do well.

The competition in these assignments is always very intimidating!
