Hi, This is my first post to this forum. Nothing special - just a picture of my dog, Cody. He's getting old and arthritic, and will probably be going to doggie Heaven soon, so I thought I'd share.

Welcome to the forum, Cody is very nice. One of my dogs is 15 years old and is almost completely deaf. But what a great friend.

Thank you for sharing. He has a nice look in his eye. I can tell he's a good dog.

Thank you all for the kind comments. There is a doorway just to the right and the sun was shining through it. Taken with my D30 (still takes great pics) and Tamron 28-75 at 75mm f/4 1/50sec. ISO 800 Large/Fine JPG. Shot was taken just minutes before I posted it here.

Really nice picture! I read in Time Magazine (current issue on happiness - discussing everything from marriage, religion, money. PETS, and lots more and how they affect being happy) last night how much a good dog can add to ones happiness! Heck, I knew that from having had a great Border Collie some years ago. As soon as I retire I am getting another dog! Yours looks like a really kind and devoted companion.
