I have wondered about this, I feel that this is a close-up not a macro but it is one that I'm happy with. close-up landscape

Awsome portrait, Mert. Can you give some details on how you took it? At least what lens setup you used?

Lynn, thats the best bokeh I've ever seen. Wonderful shots. I'm new here too. You all are an inspiration!

I really want to work on my DOF this year.

More of a closeup rather than a macro, and it's not a bug, but I don't have the time to play with the macro lens like I used to. Now that I look at the exif, I took it on Dec 30, 2003. Close enough? It's actually two photos of the front and back of the watch made around 1900, and belonged to my grandfather.

Don't do a lot of macro, but here you go -- straight from my silverware drawer.

Thanx guys. I'm going to go to bed now and it will probably take me an hour to fall asleep because I will be so convinced I am feeling thing's crawling on me...

great shots though!! I'm debating between a 100 EF and the 180L at the moment

Last year was the year of the Minolta - the next...

This picture was with Heliopan +4, which the Canon 250D replaced.
