Not really a Macro. Taken with 100-400mm IS @ 400mm @ closest focus.

Captured on 12/31 - in just under the wire! This is my son @ 10 days old. He was 5 weeks early so that's a tiny little nose. (I need to clone out his white shirt before printing.)

Try this Scott. Right click on your image and select properties. Then, select and copy the image URL information which looks like this: "http://mishuna.image.pbase.com/u33/ms_sshields/large/35881500.IMG_2123.jpg." Then paste it into you original message! Great shot!

One of my first. It was a windy day so my boy friend had to hold the flower by its stem. It was also quite low down so it was a pain in the neck (literally).

Don't know if this is my "favorite" but its up there. Plus I thought a change of pace from bugs would be nice.

My first post. I do experiments with glass and sunlight on a box that I built from cardboard. We blow these up to 30" X 40" and my architect friend uses them in the buildings he designs for added color.This was taken with the 10D and the 100 2.8 macro. I love that lens! I've enjoyed viewing everyone's work. Your talent is inspiring.

Here is my favorite from last year. The whole image came out rather surreal.
I wish that the butterfly did not have the strong shadow on it - but - oh well.
The only processing was VERY slight sharpen and levels.

Bruce the skipper is really nice. Do you use the tamron lenses? I've been looking at the 200 and 300. I cant afford the D's from canon.
