Favorite Lens? That's easy. Canon 15mm Full Frame Fisheye. Yes, it's my favorite lens. What do I use it for? Just about everything. Landscapes, flowers, architectural, sunsets, people, you name it.

Why is it my favorite? It is fun, my kids love being photographed with it. I love the unusual perspective. Fun moment? Asking a photo store robotnik for a polarizer for the lens. Funny stuff. End of complaint that I am not in family photos. Well most of me isn't, but you often will see my feet. http://www.melor.com/gallery/photo.php?photo=1634 One warning - Don't use this one while nude.

Favorite practical lens? Depends what I am shooting. The right tool for the job is going to be my favorite at that time. If I had to pick one? 24-70 Thank God I don't have to pick one.

Frances, that wouldn't be your favorite if you saw the bikini with the fisheye...Hubba hubba. Time to wax the long board.

Ricardo, Ricardo, Ricardo (shakes head)
I thought you were reserving your private stash for times when you offer a lens for sale...
Very generous, thanks... You are killing me... One tan morsel at a time…

Edit: Where did I check off "always post my stuff on page 3 of threads"...

Different favourites for different situations, hard to pick just one.
Currently I'm into sports, so... 300/2.8 or (as used below) 135/2...

THAT'S IT!

I had the 50/1.8, 85/1.8, 100/2, but had to sell them due to financial matters.

It is between a Canon 300L f/4 IS with or without a 1.4 TC and a Mitake Formula 5 135mm f/1.8 M42-EOS lens.

My most used lens had to be my 100-400LIS which i use for all my aviation and motor sports shots. My faveourite lens however is my 15mmFisheye. I just love that lens, it is so fun and you can be so creative with it!

My best day with it was Eos3/Ilford Delta 100/15mm fisheye!

Bliss. I want a 1ds now! Hehe

I love the 135 2L and use it all of the time since I mainly shoot headshots. Tight ones. Some people find it too long on a 1.6 cam but itīs perfect for my needs.

135 2L without doubt. Unfortunately, I just don't have many opportunities to use it. I may start taking headshots of some players, as Anden does, since that seems like a good idea to me.
