I went skating on the Gulf of Finland yesterday, with a cam of course

After seeing your shots, I think I'm going to have to visit Finland.

And they say you can't take a great shot at high noon :-) Nice shot and very appropriate for the WA!

"I went skating on the Gulf of Finland..." = WIN on premise alone!

Great shot.

Don't forget to bring your cam... and your skis, and skates, and ...
Thanks!

That's one of the reasons I usually go to visit my dad during Xmas. He lives two hundred km south of the Arctic Circle,
the sun is above the horizon between 10am-2PM, and the light is just beautiful (if it's not cloudy of course)

Thanks!

Nice Jouko! The cool tones sure give a sense of cold.

that certainly looks very cold, but the orange blaze set against the cold scenery is what makes it for me. Well done.

My favorite part of this image is the piece of ice that caught the sunset and was illuminated.
