Hey guys

Maybe stretching the assignment a bit.. but technically this is lit from behind as. Painting with light and orbing..in one long exposure.. Light is pointed toward camera = backlit??

Hope its ok

All the best

Superb skill mate. How ever did you pull this one off?

Thanks Krosavcheg

Orbs .. basically a torch on end of a rope swung carefully in same arc (not easy) whilst you rotate around a fixed spot.. Shutter kept open during this time .. helps to have darkness (very little ambient) . Once the Orb is done we quickly drew a bird with another torch as painting with light.

Practice...practice and practice..

Give it a go.. I think there are plenty of sites, videos online showing you what to do..

Cheers
Howard

Love the whimsy! Very complicated process, but an excellent outcome.
Well done!

Excellent H. The orb does take a little practice but is loads of fun to do. I love the drawing "inside" which obviously requires artistic ability and a steady hand.

And yes Greg a 47 second exposure.. i wasn't sure if it would work, light painting over the orb.. but it did

This might be the coolest light painting I've ever seen.
