I done several tests this morning after getting this lens yesterday. Still in the process, but it appears so far on my 5D3 that the very best is +6.

For me it's not worth sending it back for this, and this reading is from the single center point AF.

Tests were done on a tripod with a remote @ F/1.4

Of course . If its only +6 then I would say that's pretty much a keeper.

But see the other thread on the sigma. Have you tried different distances?

Why would you send it back, that is a perfectly normal adjustment for a lens. My canon lens vary from -11 to +13 and my sigma lens lens are in a similar range. The new sigma 35 I have is at +3 on my 5D3, +1 on my 5D2, 0 on my 50D, and 0 on my 7D.
