I know I'm probably too redundant and overdo it, but having lived right there I can smell the weather and feel the light. Beautiful shot!

Hey Craig, thanks so much! And it must help a bit for you to be located in Moab now, but I am sure there are times you miss Colorado. Next year, you will just have to meet me there!

Astonishing shot Jim - so much going on and yet it all comes together. Chance favors the prepared!

Hey Phil,

Thanks so much! Yeah, I think it's cool the amount of things going on in this one, and yet they all seem to fall into order.

Another beautiful capture from your fall excursion, Jim. I'm a sucker for a sunlit foreground against a dark forboding sky. Nicely executed.

Cheers,
Ed

Really like this one, I know this spot well. My brother has a cabin just up Last Dollar Rd. Very nice light. It seems the valley floor slopes to the right? Or is it the illusion with the fence going to the left? I see the tree mid-frame on left edge looks straight so maybe it's ok. I'll have to make a note to look next time I'm there!

What an incredibly dynamic photo in general. Great colours, and awesome sky.

Those flowery bushes in front of the fence really helped out here. Very nice!

Beautiful image. Seeing this makes me want to visit this spot, prop one foot up on the lower fence rail and just stare at nature's beauty so wonderfully captured by you.

Thanks so much Dean, I appreciate the comments. And our extended family here is a real blessing, hopefully this next year we will get a chance to meet up and shoot, I am sure it would be fun.

Hey Andy,

Thanks so much! Wow... your brother has a cabin up there? Man, that has to be cool. How often do you go visit him? As to the level, I think it might just be an illusion.

Thanks so much Charles. Yeah, I really loved the bushes in front. There is actually a 3rd one there too that I have captured in a pano version, but this with the two I think is my favorite.
