The Corp. of Engineers has their 2012-2013 Eagle Counts Website up.
The counts begin 12/5/2012 and end 2/27/2013

Counts for Lock and Dam 14 may be obtained by clicking the link below:

http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/MississippiRiverProject/Education/EagleWatching/EagleCounts.aspx

and then clicking on the + by LD14 which is listed as Pleasant Valley, Iowa but it is in the Le Claire city limits.

I have seen Eagles in the area but not many, since it is so warm.

Mark:
A little cold weather (which is coming) and we should start seeing some counts.
Larry and I did Bosque last week with Monkey and can now devote our attention to Eagles ;-).

Save some of that "attention" for your outfit selection, Burt. I hear tights and shorts are in...the best

cough boid shooter in the WHOLE world sports 'em now.

+1 from Pekin, Illinois. Our venture last year was a nice ride with friends.

Eagle counts have been updated for 12/05/2012 on the COE website (see Link on 1st post).
Counts will be updated on Thursday or Friday of each week.

LD14 remains BYOE (Bring Your Own Eagles) but I saw two flying down river in Le Claire this morning and it is getting colder.
