At the same time Amazon posted this offer, they mistakenly offered the 5D III + 24-105 for $3299. They left that deal up for about 7 hours before the offer went viral and they corrected the price to $3699.

I just got mine on 11-21 and have only put a few shots on it, would B&H give me a price adjustment or should I return it?

They've done after-the-fact price adjustments in the past. Give them a call and see.

I purchased a Sigma DP2 Merrill earlier this month and saw they dropped the price $150 for Black Friday. I sent them an email checking to see if they price adjust or if I had to return and buy again to get the savings. They responded back to say they would refund the price difference. Don't think it is done automatically but they should take care of you if you contact them about the price drop.

I sent them a message through their system and will give them a day or two, thank you.

I'm glad Canon finally did something for their authorized dealers. Shame it was after millions of dollars in sales by unauthorized dealers on eBay alone.

And now a refurbished one is available from Canon. I know that you can find a brand new one for about the same price, but, at least, it's a good sign that this is now available.

The funny part is they have a price drop from $2,799.21 to $2,799.20. That's a total of $0.01 saving!!!

They knocked off 150.00, had other things that came with camera worth 50.00

I suspect the devaluation of the yen to the dollar is causing Canon (and others) to "adjust" their pricing for both new and refurbished to avoid losing sales to competitors. This slide is expected to continue a bit so your patience might be rewarded with further price compensation. No guarantees of course but you might watch the daily dollar to yen quotes to see this trend.
