I'm no fan of HDR grunge look photos in general but for me, this one works. I was strobing while dragging the shutter a bit just to see what I could get. This one turned out pretty interesting. Of course the reason I like it might be because Tennessee Tech is my alma mater.

Jay

You guys have amazing shots! I don't get to keep 99% of mine because I shoot hockey tournaments and have to format my card after each game... but this was a decent glove save I found on a card after I shot a tournament. Processed a bit to have some fun in lightroom

It's hard to choose just one but I chose this one since it was a planned shot and took awhile to get

I tried doing this a few times and gave up last summer (beer was calling my name!) Will try again this summer!!!

One replacement Ref signals touchdown, the other signals Interception, neither in position to make the call. Not my best, little time to revisit the year to find one, but this game was fun.

The scary thing about this picture is the guy with the 400 2.8 around his shoulder cheering in the background...

Oh, nevermind. I see that it's the guys in front of him. Either way, they shouldn't be cheering on the sideline.

I was thinking the same thing.. and it looks like that 400 is about to whack the dude on one knee too!

Tons of awesome shots here.

If I had to choose one shot for 2012 I guess I'd go with this one because I love the composition.

Czech's stripes match gloves-shoes. What focal length is it to get it from the other side

I didn't shoot much sports at all in 2012 and I've only uploaded 2 of the 6 or 7 days I shot surfing but from the 2 I've uploaded perhaps this 2012:

This one is my most annoying shot of 2012 , arrr, why did the ball have to be half split by the white line, just 1/1000th second later.... arrrrrrr....:

I don't think I posted last year so this is my fav from 2011:

Do not know if it's my best shot, but it is certainly one of my favorites.

Jeffrey Herlings - MX2

Excuse me but I had to put one more.
