Is there anything more pure than a love for coffee? I think not. The coffee beans that are spilled on the table is one of the bags of coffee that I bought when I was in Honduras for 2 weeks. The coffee cup is a traditional cup that I brought back from being stationed in South Korea.

Nice work. Photographing steam is not easy. Good luck

Thanks. I spent about 1.5 hours trying to get the steam to show up just right.

I'm not sure if that's the worst part of photography, or the best part... The time- consuming obsession with getting it "just right," or the euphoria when, after everything, you say " THAT'S THE ONE!"

...But I certainly know what you mean!

Edit: I think it's the ability to see and capture subtleties, like the steam, and make it look easy -when in fact it is not- that brings a large part of the enjoyment! Well done.

Over 90 minutes on this shot? Either your microwave was way busy, or your caffeine intake was a lot more than it should have been that day!!

Very nice, especially the steam as it brings the photo alive. It's not just a static shot of coffee.
