For those who own the Nikon 300mm f/4, I highly recommend slapping a PN11 on it and going out bug hunting. It makes a wonderful 1:2 close-up lens with a tremendous working distance. |

Sure, they'll work, provided you want to operate at maximum aperture only (remember: G lenses have no aperture ring). |
