A few images from Joaquin Miller park in Oakland, CA. In the pano shot I was trying to convey some sense of what was lost in the trees that have obviously been cut down to the right. In the last two, I'm hoping to get across some sense of mystery in the interplay of the trees and fog. C&C welcome.

Hey Phil,

Crazy light here. #1 is really super. Great job with the sun rays.

More lovely fog shots, Phil. The sunrays in the first shot are wonderful.

Cheers,

Love that first one. I have yet to see light rays like that here.

Nice set of images here, Phil. You had good fortune with the conditions and made the best of it.

Great set, Phil. I like them all. The first tells a story. A sad story. Majestic sunlight to light up... stumps.

Moody. Love the fog and it's play on light. Of the group, the first is my favorite with the sun streaming though the mist.

Nicely work!

#1 is fantabulous.

#3 & #4 are really good, but I'd pick one or the other (which is a toss-up)

I find #2 just okay, but I can't put my finger on why.

Phil- I really like the first image. Those sun rays are special.
Nobody else mentioned it, so it's probably not the case- but to me a little more contrast in #1 would really make those sun rays look even better.
