Fantastic photo's as usual Herb!

I did have a technique question on the hawks. Are using a blind? Shoot from car? Stand? How are you getting close enough to get good hunting shots?

I do OK with owls and eagles, but struggle to get good proximity to hunting hawks.

Any tips?

these are great. i especially like the second shot with the bird cruising by at eye level. he also has a cool lighting effect on him with the white edges to his whole body. very cool....

Last shot Herb, double catchlight is mighty fine sir! If I am lucky in a few outings I might get 'one' look and shot at a fleeting RTH, this must be a hot spot for you, you're killing me here buddy Lost of great looks, this must be fun!
