Beautiful shot of one of my favorite places. You should have asked the guy to pull up his RV at the Snake River outlook. That's one location where I've often wanted to get up higher. I've often stood on top of the ledge with my tripod to get higher, but given that it is only about a foot wide, it's not ideal, but if you could pull up an RV, that would definitely allow you to avoid the tree line.

Love the color and mood here. Was this shot from the main parking area? Looks to be some time after sunrise. Takes a while for light to show up on the aspen and by then the alpinglow is gone from Moran.

I usually need to clone out photographers who like to get down by the waters edge well in front of all those who are further back.

I really like this image, but wish the left bank were included. Getting high for this shot is really a plus. I once saw a guy with an FJ cruiser and roof platform here.
