If Canon doesn't release an update to fix the AF issue on the 5D Mark III, I wonder how long it would take the guys over at Magic Lantern to backwards engineer the fix from the 1DX and implement a hack for the 5D Mark III. |

I cant wait to see the illuminated (brighter) option that they have added, it could be what I need with bright lenses in daylight....knock on wood |

Sorry for not sharing the enthusiasm - with 1.1.1 installed, in Servo mode now I have all (15) AF points as well as the grid flashing at me in irregular intervals, and in One Shot mode I still can't see diddly squat. This is a fundamental hardware problem, one that Nikon saw and addressed in design, and Canon completely overlooked. Let's hope the 1DXN has it fixed. |
