Here's some more from by recent trip to Sydney and surrounding area. It seems a lifetime ago now

The first 3 are captures of a Laughing Kookaburra, taken in the Oberon area in the Blue Mountains:

1

2

3

The next 3 were taken in the same area but I can't ID them. Can anyone help?

4

5

Comments welcome

Nice ones David. I like #1 best. BG is a bit cluttered but I like the softer light on that one.

"Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree- ee
Merry merry king of the bush is he- ee
Laugh kookaburra, laugh kookaburra
Gay your life must be."
An old camp song.
Good set, David- especially #2. I love that one!

A fine set David but I can't help with the ID's. I like the last Kookaburra the best of the set

David, your bird of prey is a Whistling Kite, found widely over Australia as well as New Guinea and nearby Melanesian Islands. Nice shots by the way.

Very nice set, David. Love the KF's.
You could "borrow" the eye of #3 to fix the reflection in #2.
