Priceless! Thanks for getting this to us Roberta. It has encouraged me to put off getting my first full-frame until next year! Cheers!

I'm going to need to read that, but I don't really believe there is a cure other than death.

This one's my favorite:

"- A long and extensive list of reasons why you need a 36mp digital camera for posting pictures on the internet."

I'm sorry, I must be missing something.

Why would I want a cure for this condition?

It seems as silly as wanting a cure for good looks, being wealthy, or being well liked.

Absolutely nuts

That's like saying that AA is for quitters!

There's always the "start a rental house" method of self control. . .

Hey - it's just a coping strategy as there is no cure. Best you can do is cope by whatever means possible - lack of $$, angry spouse, pure shame, or you have all the NIkkor lenses that were ever made . . . . .

Then get a D800e. No need for AA.

Death is not the cure - I want to be buried with my current camera...

And I expect to be pulled out again for upgrades! Hey - can't be hanging around in the afterlife with last year's camera right?

Lotto winnings cure GAS. Well, fund GAS. Cure, fund - aren't they really all the same?

Oooops! time to upgrade.

Unless they stop making them, there is no escape from NAS.

The way I cured myself of wanting to buy a lot of Nikon stuff I wouldn't really use was to start buying vintage Leica stuff instead. It's a lot smaller and easier to hide in my sock drawer.
