Ottawa or Sandy Ridge?? Just curious.

There is nothing at North Chagrin. No woodies this late in the year.

perfect shot karl. couldn't have asked for more perfect timing. you got a split second and you sure made it count. what amazing balance he has.

Kind of a combo of being ready and anticipation and burst to get this fraction of a moment, it amazed me just how instant the snatch and grab happens!
Thanks Dorian

Cool shot Karl! Those Herons must have xray vision to be able to see fish under that muck! Glad to see that lens is paying big dividends for ya!

I've been put there twice this week.

There were two pair on Tuesday and Zero yesterday.

The fewest woodies I have ever seen in 9 years.

Excellent image Karl. My mind jumped immediately to the Greenies that "Dave in LA" used to post. For anyone who remembers his work ... I mean that as the biggest compliment.

Thanks for sharing you wonderful image and helping me to remember a great photographer.

And I so mis Dave too Lori, a real inspiration of gentleman, always poking me a PM to do something a little better, something I didn't see I had a few conversations with him on the phone, will always remember that slow deliberate Southern voice..............
That is a huge compliment in my heart, Greenies will always be in thought of for Dave from me, dang I miss him on this forum but fond memories I carry............
Thanks so much Lori
