I have the lens, and it gives a unique perspective. I think we often give undue weight to minor defects on the front element. From my experience, this small defect on the front will have virtually no effect on the resulting image. Heck, I've shot with lenses that had more dirt at the time than this small mark. Now, if it were on the rear element, that would be a different matter, but that's not the case here. I appreciate the full disclosure, I wouldn't have any worries, and it's a great price. Just my $0.02. |

Very nice image. I recently got the 14L II and its an amazing lens. I have used almost every lens in Canon's lineup shorter than 200mm and this is one of the best no question. Your copy looks brand new. |
