I went from a 60D to a 7D and never looked back, for sports such as basketball the 7D with its 8 FPS will near-guarantee you don't miss a slam dunk.

Even if Canon announces a 7D II today, with their history it will probably be available this time next year. Go for the 7D now, maybe even my minty one if you want

I have the 7D and love it but thought damn FF at that price
