Work has been keeping me extra-busy for the last couple months and I haven't had many opportunities to shoot. This is an area down the street from where I live. I've been watching it for a month or so, looking for the right opportunity to shoot.

This was shot in IR at ~750nm.

@Tuan. I live in the desert, so these areas are few and far between. But Living in the River Valley has its advantages . This is a small lot (~1 acre) that is fenced-in, but has no house or anything, just the meadow. There are houses on 2 sides and streets on the other 2 sides. Oddly enough (or maybe by planning), the name of the street that passes near it is Meadowlark.

Thanks Nick. The flower effect is definitely what makes this one of my favorites.

Funny how I was watching this area for about a month before shooting. Drove by today and all the flowers are gone. Seems I hit it at the very end of the bloom.
