Fascinating report on the earliest known Color Movie shot in 1902.

Enjoy

Note: Please re-post as appropriate: I tried the News Forum but was locked out. Pop-up said I needed to have Upload and Buy and Sell to post there --- I have both so not sure the issue.

Fascinating. I am not sure how he did this in 1902 as they didn't really explain how the RGB filter was used to create color in a moving picture? Did I miss the explanation?

I had the same sense: the explanation was clear enough but no detail except for the spinning tri-color filter. One can almost guess he adapted color filters to film like the popular flipping card arcade viewers of the 1880's and 90's --- but who knows?

This appears to be a feature news report, hopefully a more detailed video will follow.
