Know a good frame/matte place?

I'm getting an image printed at 8x12 and looking for a 12x16 frame with 2" matte for it -- and having surprisingly little luck. Just want something simple, trying to keep the cost manageable. Any suggestions?

I live in a small town so there aren't any viable local options.

Thanks.

Their picture frame sets look pretty promising. Thanks for the tip!

Pricing is a joke!

shipping to VA: $58.98
total: 98.26

It's not that bad. I put two Redi-Paks of 18x24 in the shopping cart and plugged in Fairfax, VA's zip and the shipping charge comes out $58.01. But, you need to understand that's 50 matts in total. So each 18x24 matt costs $6.88 including shipping.

Thanks for pointing this out.
Looks like good deal for mats, but the price quote I referenced is for one frame with mat.
Price is ok, shipping is not.

Never just buy one from them. The deal is in their Redi-Mats.

If you would like to try a more modern approach check out www.duraplaq.com We've been doing Duraplaq mounting for several years with great results and sales.

Tim Emerson is the president and if you get in touch ask for him.

Except for buying a really cheap frame on Amazon, everything is quite pricey.
Walmart and other places sell nice frames and mats except it is very hard to find anything with a 3x2 aspect ratio. 18x12 mat with a 16x22 frame is my ideal size.

Visit matboard and more. They do any size matting in a whole bunch of colors. The website is very easy to use and the prices/service are fantastic!

Hi Charles,

I get up through Bennington at least once a year, and I've actually been in this place...

Jay's Art Shop & Frame Gallery - Located in Downtown Bennington, Vermont!:

...they're PPFA (for what that matters). Have you tried them?
