Hi Paul, honestly not sure if the camera is still under warranty (or if Panasonic warranties are transferable) -- the camera was purchased from Amazon in November of last year, but Panasonic's support site times out when checking the serial. I can verify, however, that it works like new. I can provide the original Amazon invoice with the camera.
