The fall color is all gone. Just dead leaves and empty tree branches waiting for the colder days ...

For sure it doesn't look very autumnal here now either. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on how you view it) I still have a substantial PP backlog to get through. 5D / 70-200mm f/2.8L:

Hi,

Back in CT, the color is only with the hemlocks and the fliers . All with the manual focus FD 400mm f2.8L (with EdMika adapter) and 5D MkII.

Today we had...

PS: do you think if I hold my 7D under water until no more bubbles come up, it will stop making so much noise?

Very nice Adrian, kinda nostalgic...

This fellow dropped by yesterday, guess he decided to stick around for ski season.

...think I prefer the 5D3 + 70-200L II + 2xTC to the 7D + 100-400L, much more to work with.

My hands were just to shaky even for IS to help so I put a 50mm f1.4 on my 50D, let my lady do the honors. Our Gingko is beginning to shed it's yellow coat, once a day raking has begun, here's a bit from inside this 45ft beast of a tree, I'll try for a full body shot tomorrow...enjoy!

The fall colours in the background are becoming quite difficult to find. However, there is no snow and air temperatures are still high.

Late fall also means the northern duck shooting season is picking up.

+1.....well done, Jerry.......Gingko b. leaves are either fresh green or pure yellow, and nothing in-between.
