I'm looking for a good tripod sling with ergonomics in mind. I don't want one of those that puts the entire tripod in a bag. I want to be able to carry the tripod on my back, possible even next to a backpacking backpack, and be able to swing the tripod out front and quick release it for immediate use. Then snap it back into the strap/sling and continue moving. |

I re-visit this type of product/ solution about once a year. I always just go back to wrapping the legs and carrying it on my shoulder. It seems to be the most efficient way of doing it in my experience... |

Personally I just attach the tripod to my pack. Why would you want to carry a pack and a separate sling at the same time? |

I've never heard of the run and gun style of tripod photography. |
