Going to be interesting to see what you do with the now aging 5D2 under your scrutinizing eyes and tests. And with this focale which is quite a bit wider than what I normally see you use. Tell your friend to consider Magic Lantern before he leaves, just as a friendly advice :-)

Well i have the CV15 for my Nex, but the Distagon would nicely fit into the wide gap between the CV15 and the G28 on my Nex

Heh, I guess the 28/2.8 won't work on my D800, but the tip would also work for other lenses...

The 28/2.8 is supported, but it looks like some shaving of the barrel may be necessary (esp. for a FF body like the D800).
